Hi fellow traders Iam looking for all types of dropshippers in the UK. Would anyone care to post a list of some good ones. Can anyone comment on ATS trading? I am also looking for a good supplier of baby/toddler products eg. clothes toys etc etc.
I will post my opinion of the companies I deal with. Keep well away from 'The Select' based in Milton Keynes.

I have used ATS quite a few times and never had any trouble with them. They send the items out same or next day recorded.
One bit of advice to anybody thinking of joining them, the prices don't include VAT and I have lost my profit by forgetting this and having to pay it myself.

I have used ATS Distribution several times in the past year and I am very impressed with them. I have not yet had any problems with delivery. In fact, they are surprisingly fast - with items usually arriving within 48 hours. They dispatch orders very quickly and keep you informed. They always tell you when an order has been dispatched and whether an item is out of stock.

They are also easy to get hold of and always reply to my email queries within around one working day. A good test of a dropshipping company is how they deal with faulty items and errors. So far, they have corrected such orders very quickly, again with good communication and apologies.

It now costs £40 (one off fee) to register with ATS distribution and I think it is worth it, as you can soon regain this after a few sales. Don't get too excited about the free product pack that you get when you register - it was mainly full of things that are not particularly in demand.

Postage costs are based on the total weight of the order. Therefore, you might find less profit to be gained from some of the heavy items e.g. kitchen appliances etc. However, you should be able to do well with lighter items such as watches.

If you are going to list most of their items on your website, watch out as they have a high turnover of stock. This is good because they have new items listed most weeks. However, items can be discontinued as quickly as they appear. This presents me with a bit of a challenge to keep on top of my website. You really need to check their discontinued list on a daily basis.

I agree with all these posts. I have used them many times and never had any problems.

Delivery is always extremely fast and nearly everything is instock when I order it. If it isnt then a new delivery is only a few days away.

I rated them good because their delivery time, goods quality etc is indeed up to scratch but i feel their lack of stock lets them down and is very annoying, especially if you sell on ebay. Other than that they are very good, i've had more returns from the dropshipper i use now and zero from ATS, but like i said, just annoying about their stock, some categories are empty on their site.

I think they are selling the same products online at same price at which they are selling to some one who chosing them as there dropshipper, They have different websites selling same price/products and they give you SRP £10 - £15 on top, Who will buy from you, If they can get same thing at the price you bought at. What a joke this company is making :()

They are selling at £10, Just by different name.

I dont see any point of paying them £40 as a membership fee. they charge you £40 and competete with you at the price they sell you at same price for customers.

I think working with them is a waist of time and energy.

I've used ATS and have always found their sevice to be excellent. Delivery within 48 hours and no hassle. Always helpful and fast to respond to queries.

Hi everyone new to the forum
I use ATS delivery very good but do find them expensive and knowing stock levels very hard had 1 bad experience sold a foot spa then out of stock phoned them they said stock would be in by end of week told customer who said he was willing to wait but have had to refund as 3weeks on still out of stock now got a negative on my feedback stll 100% but customer right as i drunk on the info ats gave which proved to be untrue

I use ATS but wish I didnt have to, yes they ship quickly which is great but in white jiffy bags which provide little protection for delicate items. I had to credit customers twice recently because there products came battered and broken. Ive spent two weeks trying to get a response to this and as yet NOTHING! :bash

I have used ATS, just for selling on ebay, not using a website, and good despatch. just be a little careful with products being out of stock.

I tend to check there notice board twice a day and have only have 1 out of stock in the 2 years i have been dealing with them. Must agree about the jiffy bags though, other wise a really reliable dropshipper.

There has been the odd item out of stock, but all dropshippers have that, it just makes it slightly awkward for eBay to then explain to customers.

I tried to complain to ATS about the poor packaging and they were very rude, very very rude, they just dont care, bad customer service. Not going to use them anymore so if anyone has another suggestion please tell me, watches and clocks are my thing.

Couldnt believe how rude and nasty dont think they realise we are the customer think they have us by the short and curlies, maybe lots should join together and start in competition against them!!! :chr

I've been using ATS Distribution for about 2 years now. In that time I've had enquiries from customers and potential customers, enquiries from me and returns and never had a problem.
Sure, as others have mentioned the stock does move fast and I do recommend that you update your shop stock once a day, otherwise you may be caught short of stock changes. This is not a failing of ATS, it's just a lot of work from the people running the shops (as you know).
So overall, ATS have always been very good.
