Adult Sites & PAYPAL

Hi all, I'm new to all this and have heard you can't use Paypal as a payment option if you have an adult goods site, is that correct? if so what other options are the best to choose.
BTW I think this is a brilliant forum for information and seems like everyone is really friendly

It will state in paypal's terms which products are not allowed. It is not all of them the last time it was brought up. Best to be sure, then you know how you can move forward.

There are just a few items and stipulations that paypal have that can't be sold or displayed when using their platform. Not all, just some contraversial (in their opinion) items.

Paypal don't allow adult products and neither to google checkout, your best bet is to get a merchant service like HSBC although it is quite costly to set up. However I haven't sold adult products so I am not 100% sure that they do either. I would check the terms and conditions in great detail of any online payment processors before spending time on applying with them just to make sure.

I have just come accross this so would like to add, the actually Paypal terms and conditions are quite vague with regards to adult material they read...

You may not use the PayPal service for activities that:
(e) items that are considered obscene,
(g) certain sexually oriented materials or services,

However ebays terms regarding listing of adult related material are quite detailed

As they are the same company this may give you a an idea of what the company is willing to accept and what items are likely to be rejected.

Paypal do allow the sale of adult products, just some are not allowed - as has been said.

paypal allows adult products.
items that are not allowed are generally in the drugs dept.
They do not allow products like golden root, or certain sexual enhancing oils.

Apart from that paypal are fine with adult goods.
